Summary
We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual with strong experience in Web design, development, and optimization to join our expanding marketing team.
The Web Developer will be responsible for all aspects of our development. This person will also be responsible for creating a strong and stable code, and be able to optimize our sites for quick load times. The Developer will tackle site issues that may arise, create a security and backup process, as well as be able to customize and create modules to use for our business goals. The ideal candidate will be able to use their knowledge of UX/UI principles to create SEO rich, user friendly sites that are responsive to meet the growing demand from mobile users.
Responsibilities
- Build effective, mobile friendly landing pages for ongoing SEO/SEM campaigns
- Develop landing pages and sites
- Optimize sites for quick load times
- Modular development and customization
- Integrate web services via API to our internal systems
- Fix site issues and implement security protocols
- Develop and maintain a rigid backup process
- Maintain change documentation
- Ongoing A/B testing of sites and landing pages
- Implementation of our SEO strategy into all pages and sites
- Work with the creative team to build consensus around strategic designs
- UX/UI testing and implementation
- Keep current with emerging technologies
- Work cooperatively with key team members
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of current web development languages (HTML5, CSS3, PHP/MySQL, JavaScript, and jQuery)
- Understanding of UX/UI principles
- Ability to produce clean code that validates and follows industry standards
- Familiarity with Agile Methodology a plus
- Knowledge of SEO
- Experience with LAMP environment and IIS
- Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours a week on-site
